What a great week!

Maths… in the North Pole?

Room one and two completed a design of the North Pole! I wonder if this has anything to do with a jolly man, dressed in red and with a grey beard!? All seemed very engaged when I entered the room.

Fishing

On Wednesday afternoon, the fishing group went back to Lake Glenmaggie after getting some advice of a better spot where catching fish would be 100% certain. It was not a lie!! They caught 5 fish!

Thank you very much Mr Savige for helping Lacey Radford and Emma Wojcinski take this group. Clear to say they had much fun and I think they have requested to go back next week!

Cooking in Indonesian

This week was the turn of the junior and 3/4 students to cook. They all made dips to eat with papadums and prawn crackers. I tried some delicious satay dip made by Deegan from room 6 and so many more dips were up for tastings!

School Choir

Our choir performed at the Railway Hotel in front of a very enthusiastic audience and enjoyed singing two songs at assembly too. Well done to everyone! It takes courage to do this!

Special thank you to Miss Schmidt who created the moves and helped students learn the songs. Thank you to Ms Wojcinski for organising the performance.

Specialists Classes

In the past week, students got to dance and celebrate the end of the year in Music. In Art, they attempted to make the longest decoration and see if it could around the building. They also read their last books during the last Library lesson for the year. Make sure you remember to bring back your books!

Let’s see who will be the second best grade!! Room 8 has already won first place!!
