Wednesday Activities
These activities aim to link learning in the classrooms with our broader community.
Students are mixed with other students of different levels and age group to learn how to support, learn with and interact with students from the whole school. This helps build a strong community of learners.

Heyfield Primary School aims to celebrate the display of our values in the classroom and in the school yard. Every week, each classroom teacher acknowledges students for their effort and achievements in their learning. Our weekly yard raffle rewards students who have been spotted living the values of the school.

A day at Heyfield PS during lunchtime…
Quite often, I enjoyed joining in some of the games students play but this week, I also took the time to walk around the yard at lunchtime and snapped some photos.

The Sixth Child
We have been very fortunate to receive toys as donations from the charity called The Sixth Child.

We will hold a Welcome BBQ on Wednesday 2nd March from 5pm to give everyone the chance to meet our staff and get together in a less formal setting.

What is to celebrate about this past week?
This week has been full of celebrations at school and out in the community. Linking our learning and school values to the broader community of Heyfield is very important to us.
Swimming Carnival 2022
On Monday grade 3-6 students walked to the Heyfield Pool to participate in our annual Swimming Carnival. This year’s swimming carnival was a hot one. We started with Freestyle races and followed by all other swimming styles. It was a great atmosphere throughout the day.
