What happened this week?

A snapshot around the school…

Ambulance Visit

Ambulance Victoria visited our school on Monday and presented some CPR kits to our Junior students. afterwards, all students got to get in the ambulance truck and check the machines inside.

It was interesting to see how many students knew or didn’t know their address. Maybe it is something we can all work on, together.

Chooks Visit

We had some baby chickens visiting our school. Mrs Stuart’s daughter had some chooks hatch last week and we had the pleasure to be able to care for them for a couple of days.

WEDNESDAY ACTIVITIES

Gardening and Cornhole game after the sewing session are our groups who enjoyed having their photos taken.

High Tea

The Resource Centre put on a high tea for Senior Week. Four of our students gave a hand to prepare the tables and welcome all the ladies coming in, writing raffle tickets for the ‘Door Prize’. They can be very proud of themselves, they did a wonderful job.

Science

Students from Room 5 put together an electronic game, in their science class. They had to connect some wires in their eletricity lesson to make a dance video game. I tried it and it was not easy to win!

Volleyball

Room 8 started learning about Volleyball in their P.E. class.

Inside Out 2 - Emotions

While classroom teachers were moderating writing pieces and progression points for other learning areas, all students took part in activities linked to the movie Inside Out 2. They all learned more about emotions and how to regulate them when needed.
