Athletics
It was a great day, even though the sun took a while to come out. Michelle Dinsdale, as you can see on one photo, was excited to point it out to me!!
Well done to all participants and cheer leaders. Thank you very very much to all parents who came and helped and suported our students. Thank you to all staff who organised this event.
Science Activities
We learnt about inertia, chemical reactions, compost, push and pull forces during our Science rotations. Bill and Emma Wojcinski nearly lost three rockets with their activities and have decided to modify them before next week, so we do not lose any on a roof. We explored the mix of cola and mentos but we were a little disapointed that none of our investigations exploded or made too much of a mess. Elephant toothpaste was pretty fun to watch. Another group used balloons to get their rockets to go further and further.
