What happened this week?
Music
There was some rgeat dancing today at Assembly. Mr Fasoli, Ms Wojcinski and Mrs Thomas were participating in the fun with other staff and all students. Thank you to Mr Bartlett for such a great entertainment, as always.
Displays around the school
I always enjoy walking around the school and classrooms, seeing students’ work. They proudly display their writing, maths or reflections on books. Please do not hesitate to come inside our buildings and see it for yourself. We will have a special person’s morning in a fortnight, join us for some fun and to celebrate our students and staff’s effort.
Wednesday activities
This term, we have various activities again. You can see from the photos students took part in gardening (or planning for it), cooking, building bikes, olden day games, coding on computers, Lego masters, making library displays about students’ favourite books, making cards for the Lodge.
Casual Clothes Day
This week’s theme was Royalty to go with the King’s Coronation but our next casual clothes a little more special. One of our ex-students has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma and as she is undertaking her treatment at the moment, we thought we could help her family with a fundraiser. Friday 26th May, our casual clothes day theme will be the colour ‘Purple’ as it is Remy ‘s favourite colour. It will be a gold coin donation but you can really donate whatever amount you wish.
Lunchtime Fun!
Our students usually get busy at lunchtime. Our activity leaders organised a game or activity every day this past week. They will organise more the next few weeks. Today, Playmart was reopen and it was much fun, as you can see from the photos!
