What happened this week?
This week…
Room 5 is getting ready to cook next term, and has been researching words to fit their recipe in Indonesian!
Room 4 has been talking about our school value of Respect.
Room 2 has been looking at our school value of resilience.
None of it is busy work! They can all explain to you what they are learning about and why!
Public Speaking Competition
Well done to Ruby Cassidy and Isla Molphy for entering the Public Speaking Competition and telling their story as if they woke up one day being a Giant! Some very creative ideas there.
ART
In Art, while Room 4 is busy creating a bowl, senior students are learning to creat a sculpture after designing it on paper.
Andy Griffith
The whole school learnt from thi svery talented and famours illustrator this week. They had to create their own character.
Concert
Well done to everyone! What a great show!
It is always so amazing to see our students cmoe out of their shell when on stage, and they did exactly that yesterday! Our main actors, our ‘behind-the-scene’ helpers, the instrumental musi cgroups and all the students in their grade. Such a superb pool of talents.
Thank you to everyone involved teaching the dance moves, the music or lyrics. Thank you to you all who helped prior, during and after with the cleaning too.
I believe we make a great team and build this wonderful village around our students. The photos are a mix of rehearsals and during the concert too. You will notice four boys sitting on the chairs: Kodi Ratten, Jameson Heywood, Mathew Miles and Jack Gell who helped set up the hall on Wednesday. Thank you too!
Enjoy the photos.
Footy Colours Day
What a hoot! Even though everyone seemed a little tired from their busy day at the concerts, everyone turned up on good spirit and enjoyed doing some activities dressed in their favourtire footy colours: AFL and NRL were represented.
