What happened this week?

A snapshot around the school…

Welcome to our new staff and students!

It was great seeing new faces around the school. What a great team we will have this year with you all part of it! Thank you for choosing our school.

Marg, our Lollypop lady!

Congratulations to Marg for a great achievement and the milestone of 20 years of service as a Lollypop lady!

This is a great reminder to always use the crossings when going from and to your car. Hopefully your child will remind you if you don’t, as we will be learning about road safety.

Our chickens are laying eggs every day!

Letti Ashley, Spencer Darby and other students have helped with collecting the eggs from the chicken coop this past week. Thank you to all of you for caring for our chickens and being careful with the eggs! We might be lucky enough to have Bill cook us a cake with them all!

Library bags and Reading

Our prep students were presented with a bag of goodies related to reading, today at assembly.

Reading is one of the most important skills everyone needs in life, whatever you do. We promote it daily, here at school and we would like parents’ support with this. Please encourage your child to read every day at home, even if it is only for 10 minutes. It makes a huge impact on their learning.
