What a week!

ANZAC Day Ceremony

Our students participated in the ANZAC Day march and ceremony to pay their respect to the service women and men who fought during the wars. Our school captains laid a wreath on behalf of Heyfield PS.

Coonawarra Farm Resort - 5/6 camp

We couldn’t have had a better weather for these three days of fun. Students started their camp experience with having to build a hut in teams, making sure it is waterproof. The squealing and laughter from the drenched students and staff was very funny. We followed with cooking dampers, which was a real success for most. A 3km night walk, where we say a few possums ended our day.

The second and third days were filled with various activities: Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Canoeing, Horse riding, High ropes and Climbing Wall.

All students and staff had a great time and came back ready for a restful weekend!

CROSS COUNTRY - Junior students

On Friday morning, our junior students took part in their Cross Country races. All students finished their race with enthusiasm and most of them smiling! The Prep students were fabulous for their very first experience and arrived at the finish line, giving high fives to the crowd cheering for them.
