What learning has taken place at Heyfield Primary School this week?

Shadow Boxes

Bill Smith is full of knowledge and skills and one of the Wednesday activities has been to create shadowboxes. Students have enjoyed the challenge to put the boxes together and decorate them. This week, Ruby from room 5 and Piper from room 2 are proudly presenting theirs.

Cross Country

It was a wet day! Well done and Thank you to all students, parents and staff who participated and helped run this year’s cross country. Also, a huge thank you to Ann Schmidt who remembered to take some photos!

Yesterday, we decided to postpone the Junior students running their loop of the Wetlands because we want them to have an enjoyable and dry experience but instead they had their own races. As you can tell teachers joined in the fun too!

Next term, we will have our Prep-2 students run one sunny afternoon. Stay tuned.
