Wednesday Activities
We have started a new rotation of activities. Thank you to Amy Semmens for taking a group for Pottery! It was so much fun.
Other activities included: Public Speaking, Gardening, Laurina Lodge, Hands-on Learning, Touch Typing, Games outside, Gifts of Kindness and our Heyfield Reporters who will have their articles in the Heyfield News.
Maths at Heyfield PS
Last week, we had various graphs created online after students in room 1 and 2 collated data.
This week, we have some students from room 5 representing their numbers as triangles!
Winter Sports
Today, Grade 5/6 students competed in Soccer, Tee Ball, Netball and Footy at the Heyfield Rec Reserve. They faced other schools in our district and seem to have had an enjoyable day.
Thank you very much to all staff and parents involved and in particular to Aaron Ratten for coaching our footy team! We appreciate everyone who takes the time to support our students: helpers and spectators.
