What happened this week?

Message from Mr Bartlett

Well done to our senior guitar group who performed at assembly. We will hear them again soon, next term.

Wednesday fun!

This week, due to the weather, we had to improvise various changes for our activities. However, you can tell students still got to learn through play with students from other grades and different age groups.

Logan was very proud of his finish product. Well done!

Swimming Certificate

The School’s Swimming Program serves many purposes and the main one is to teach the basic skills for all children to be safe around water. This is an important part of the curriculum, and recognised by the Department of Education as a vital one, hence the cost of these lessons being fully subsidised.

While extra lessons outside our program are always beneficial, the ones undertaken with school are assessed too, and these students have reached the level required to receive the Victorian Water Safety Certificate.

Congratulations to Elsie Smith, Lilly Curran, Declan Pettigrew-Hughes, Benji MacDonald, Mac Dillon, Rex Hamilton, Jameson Heywood, Makenna Wright, Peyton Komen, Kai Richards and Blake Fuller.

Ice-cream Day

All students enjoyed an ice-cream at lunchtime. This was our fundraiser for the year, organised by Parents and Friends. Thank you to Michelle Dinsdale, Lyndal Smith and Maddie Briggs for organising and serving these yummy desserts today. All students loved it and the weather was perfect for it!

SILLY SOCK DAY

Silly Sock Day is on Thursday 21st March. All students can wear silly socks, but still wear their uniform. This is to raise awareness to Down Syndrome.

We have some socks for sale at the office for $10/each if you wish to be part of this fundraiser.
