What happened this week?
Education Support Staff Day
Our ES staff are amazing and we could not do our work without them. They all, always go beyond their roles and responsibilities and always place our students first. They are fantastic to work with and we cannot thank them enough.
‘ES Extraordinaire’ was definitely well suited. We appreciate you.
Cyberbullying
Our session with Constable Sarah Reggardo was targeted at students from 3-6 grades but we will definitely include some lessons for our younger grades. I also asked Sarah if we could have a session for parents. Please let me know if you would be interested.
In the meantime, Lyndal Smith attended, representing Parents and Friends and took a few notes (see below) for us. Thank you very much Lyndal.
P.E.
Our foundation students did some PMP during the week for their Physical Education lesson. There was some jumping, throwing and all with smiles on faces.
Wednesday activities
More bikes were built last week during our Wednesday activities. Our next rotation will include learning to ride for our prep-2 students. If you can help on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-2:50pm. Please let us know.
Special Person’s Day
What a special time we all had. It all started with walking to school then a big brekkie at school before entering classrooms.
Thank you very much for being part of this special event. We will do it again next year!
