What happened this week?

Indonesian

Cooking

Every year, our senior students cook recipes they have researched and translated in Indonesian classes. This past week, they started the cooking and it smelt and looked delicious, but I can guarantee you it tasted delicious too! Well done everyone and thank you Mrs Taylor for organising this. Students really enjoy this part of their LOTE experience.

Shadow Puppets

Other learning for this term in LOTE is shadow puppets. It is typically in the Indonesian culture to go to or perform in shadow puppeting.

Cross-aged learning - Wednesday activities

This term, we have started the rotations of activities with gardening, scooter riding, outside games, visiting the Laurina Lodge, Lawn bowls, Gifts of Kindness and Life skills.

in Life Skills, students will be learning to sew, iron and other skills, but this week they learnt about cutting safely and made fruit kebabs!
