What happened this week?
A tour around the school this past week..
It is so good to see everyone back and to see them all play nicely at lunchtime. Here are some sneakpeeks! I think the State of Origin has created an interest in playing rugby for our boys! We still have basketball and netball happening. Some students have made up a game with tennis balls and others have chosen the gaga pit. I could still see some jump ropes being used and a surprising appearance of hoola hoops!
Wednesday Activities
This round of activities, students have been able to choose between: visiting the elderly residents at the Laurina Lodge, playing games, drawing or completing puzzles, doing hands-on tasks, craft, lego Masters, gardening or sewing! The next rotation will be to start practising for the concert!! How exciting!
It’s next Friday!!
Thank you to all volunteers who will be assisting on the night of the disco. This will be a drop and go event, so you will not need to stay and wait for your child. You can purchase tickets from the office during the week or on the night at the door.
Each ticket includes a drink and a packet of chips or popcorn, entry fee and a glow stick!
Table Tennis
Our students from grade 1 to grade 6 will be learning to play table tennis with Gecko Sports. There are some very skilled players out there!!
School Uniforms
We have gone online for purchase of uniforms! Come and see Ann if you have any questions.
Something new: there is a tag inside the new jackets/jumpers with a code, which will be perfect for lost property!!
Victorian Junior State player at our school!
Makenna Wright will be representing Victoria in Pool! She has been selected for the u18 girls’ team.
What an awesome achievement Makenna! Congratulations! All the best!
