Aussie of the Month Awards

This week, we will start our celebration with our Aussie of the Month awardees, for the month of July.

Congratulations to Koby Bean, Harper Power, Logan Tyquin and Peyton Komen for this fantastic achievement. These students have displayed our school values in the yard and in the classroom by always interacting respectfully with others; by engaging fully in their learning; by supporting and encouraging peers and by taking pride in our school, their learning and themselves.

They are true citizens of Heyfield Primary School.

PEN LICENCES

Two more students have reached 20 pieces of work with excellent handwriting in Room 5 and they were awarded their pen licence today at assembly. Handwriting is very important with spelling and grammar.

We encourage all our students to practise the formation of letters so they can be read clearly. Imagine trying to guess what an author has written!? It wouldn’t be very enjoyable!
